Why Should I Recycle Electronic Devices at iFix
Electronics are made up of a range of materials, including metals, plastics, and critical substances, some of which are valuable and rare, like silver, chromium, and lithium. The process of extracting, producing, and delivering these resources consumes substantial energy. When electronic devices are not recycled properly, these materials often end up in landfills and waste sites, or are inappropriately disposed of in developing countries, leading to environmental damage and resource depletion.
Can I Put My Electronics in the Recycle Bin
Some cities accept small electricals as part of their home recycling scheme. But, if yours does there may be special instructions on how to put them out for collection - for example, place small electrical items in a clear plastic bag tied to your recycling bin. At iFix, we recycle both small and large devices. All you need to do is bring your device in to your local store and we make sure it is responsibly recycled at no cost to you!
